Hey Dave

The reason you didn't get this one but you got the other is because you are not subscribed to this forum but you are subscribed to the SandyBay forum.

I am now :)

BTW, you didn't wake me up in the middle of the night. In fact, I was suggesting that the problem you had in your recent email should have been a helpdesk ticket so it would wake me up.

phew... I thought I had awoken you at 3am on a sunday morning or something :)

Dave - I try not to wake you up at all if I can help it

My normal email address (the one you used) does not send me a text message alert. Posting to the client helpdesk is currently the best way to wake me up (well, I can think of much better ways but not from you guys :)) It should be used anytime there is a site down or server issue that I haven't already mentioned on the forums.

I thought I had used the correct one (another phew) - thanks for the clarification

BTW, welcome back from the beach :D

Thanks - it was great

Dave, I am unable to subscribe to any topics. I just get a listing that shows that I am not subscribed to any topics.

I guess that I am just slow. :?

Hi Al,

At the moment, I don't see anything out of the ordinary for your forum user. Looking at the database, I see your user is subscribed to a number of topics but no forums (I haven't found a phpbb management tool that lets me see this info through the ACP).

What happens when you try to click the link to subscribe to a topic or forum? Does it come up with a screen that says you are subscribed?

Just to confirm, when you go to the user control panel and click on Manage Subscriptions it show nothing?

Later today, I'll log in as your user and poke around. It will probably require that I reset your password. I'll let you know what I find.
